Name: Paid Online Writing JobsIs Paid Online Writing Jobs Legit Or Scam?

Website: www.paidonlinewritingjobs.com

Price: $47 Membership Fee

Rank: 15/100 – Scam!

What Is It?

Paid Online Writing Jobs attempts to train you on becoming a freelance writer online while getting paid for it. There are so many websites like Paid Online Writing Jobs. There’s “Get Paid To Take Surveys Online,” “Get Paid To Draw Online,” and even “Get Paid To Take Pictures Online.”

If they all have one thing in common, it’s the fact that they are all bogus websites attempting to feed you worthless information on how you can quote on quote, apply to these jobs to make money. They all attempt to act as this job directory website and middleman between legitimate online jobs and you as the freelancer.

But, one thing they fail at explaining is the fact not only can you find this information for free, but that it isn’t even really a job directory per say. If you take a look for example at “Get Paid To Take Pictures,” all the site does is re-direct you to a few stock photo sites where you can try and sell your pictures online. They make the process sound so easy and effortless and are really charging you for nothing more than some information that can be found elsewhere.

How Much Is It?

Paid Online Writing Jobs is a $47 membership fee, just like all their other sites. Inside the website you’ll find a membership area consisting of a “Job Board” area that allows you to advertise yourself as a freelancer while looking for other people offering work.

The only problem with this is no one who is looking to outsource writers is going to pay $47 just to use this companies job board. You’ll also find some training on how to become a freelance writer online.

Paid Writing Jobs

The company doesn’t really have any paid writing jobs at all and really focuses on showing you where to find these jobs by simply pointing you to more reputable freelance websites such as, Elance and Odesk. But if you simply were to search on Google for “how to become a freelancer,” you could simply find all this information at no cost instead of paying $47.

Red Flags To Watch Out For

#1. Claims that there are thousands of writing jobs and that you can start work immediately with no experiencIs Paid Online Writing Jobs Legit Or Scam?e necessary. It even uses an “apply now” call to action making you think you’re applying for a job, even though you’re paying $47.

#2. Their jobs database is nothing special or unique and can be found anywhere else on the internet.

#3. All their training does is point you to more reputable sites like Elance and Odesk.
Now the real question is, why would you have to pay money in order to start working as a freelancer? You shouldn’t and that is really what makes Paid Writing Jobs a total scam to watch out for.

How To Become a Freelance Writer?

The best way to become a freelance writer is to head over to Elance, Odesk, or Freelance.com and search for people who need help with a certain topic or are looking for a part to full-time writer. Many people have had success making a good income with freelancing, but it’s not easy.

In order to become a successful freelancer, this is something you’ll need to be doing on a daily basis. Depending on your writing skills, you could be making anywhere from $10 to $20 per article. Each article will probably be 500 to 1,000 words based on a specific niche topic.

So if you’re going to go this route, make sure to look for something that you have a peculiar interest in. Freelance writing is much easier said than done. The individuals hiring you are always looking for the best quality they can receive and this really depends on how you go about researching the subject and how well you can articulate with other individuals. Because freelance writing is intertwined with individuals who own blogs and websites, this kind of writing really depends on your communication skills as well.

In my opinion however, there are much better options out there than becoming a freelancer writer.

Why Not Write For Yourself!

Instead of writing for someone else and getting paid $10 to $20 on a one-time basis, why not write for yourself? Did you know that creating a website and blogging daily can provide you a passive, growing, and stable income? I know because I do this full-time and was one of the most valuable lessons I learned after joining Wealthy Affiliate.

The steps are simple and you can choose what topics to write about and the actual quality of your content. In-turn Google will place your website in the search engines for thousands and thousands of other individuals searching for that topic to view.

By providing good informative quality content to your viewers, you can then go ahead and monetize that content, and that is the best way of making money online.. That is, by working for yourself and not somebody else!

Paid Online Writing Jobs Recap

Paid Online Writing Jobs is nothing more than an overpriced scam deceiving you into thinking you’re applying for a job. Despite the job board included with the members area, there isn’t a whole lot to be found there. While the “3 day training” can be somewhat informative for those who’ve never heard of freelance writing, it’s also information that can be found with a simple search on Google.

Last but not least is the mere fact that their training simply points you to Elance and Odesk; almost as though, they are using this as their job directory. Paid Online Writing Jobs despite acting like a middleman between you and the job, isn’t even a middle man at all. The only thing their doing is charging you a hefty $50 fee for some information on freelancing.

It is these same owners who are in charge of the other worthless information found on get paid to draw, paid to take pictures, and paid to take surveys. The list is really never-ending and only grows year after year. So moral of the story.. Watch out for these “get paid to” guys!
