What Is EkoClix?
EkoClix is one of many PTC sites that has made their online presence known to many. With tens of thousands members to date, one can only wonder what is so special about this site. Is EkoClix really a legitimate website for earning? That’s exactly the information we’ll be finding out in this review.
With my experience in the world of PTC’s, hopefully I can give you a precise explanation of what to expect. Yes, the site has so far paid out over $50,000, but is that saying much? With nearly 100,000 members, one can calculate that the average earnings per member to be less than $1 each.
Of course, you might say that a good number of these members are inactive. While that is certainly true, all one needs to do to evaluate the actual earning potential of EkoClix is look at the methods of earning the site offers.
Also, here are some facts you might want to know when using EkoClix. First off, the site does not offer PayPal as a payment processor. Those looking to deposit and make withdrawals will have to use Payza, Perfect Money, or CoinPayments. Advertisements can also be clicked on only once every 24 hours. So, once you’ve finished watching all the available ads, you’ll have to wait until the next day to view them again.
Lastly, you must reach a minimum payment amount before getting paid, which is set at $5. After requesting your first payment, you must then reach a minimum payment of $7, $8, $9, and $10, which is definitely a bit weird. Now onto the important piece of this review, which is how exactly do you earn and get paid with EkoClix?
How Does One Earn With EkoClix?
The primary method of earning with EkoClix is with the View Advertisement wall, which will give us a good idea of the earnings to expect. The View Ad wall allows members to view an ad for a specific set amount of time in exchange for earnings. Earnings here range from $.0005 to $.001.
Yes, you read this correctly. The most you can earn by the single click of an advertisement is 1/10th of a penny. That means in order to make one cent, you need to view 10 of these ads, which trust me is a very time-consuming and boring process.
Then you have other ways of earning such as, the EkoGrid, which gives you 25 chances per day to click on various grids to earn money. The only issue here is, you can click, click, and click again, only to find you have no earnings to show for. Best case scenario, you get lucky and win the $2 jackpot.
The Offers4All wall isn’t anything new or unlike anything we’ve seen before. This section consists of more low-paying PTC ads and quick task offers. These offers are provided by other PTC sites, which pay you a small amount to sign-up for their site.
In addition, you have another wall called the PTCWall, which pays an even smaller amount than the prior walls we’ve seen. Earnings here range from $.0002 to $.0001. Surveys are also offered which pay out around $.01 each.
These are the primary methods used for earning with EkoClix, which as you can tell, is not very profitable!
What About EkoClix Memberships?
One thing many members do to try and increase their status and earnings is upgrade their membership. This the primary way in which these PTC guys get their earnings. We will quickly cover the different membership options below. But just so you know, membership prices range anywhere from free to $500 per year.
In many cases you’ll find that the membership do not justify the benefits that come with it. It’s always recommended that if you do want to upgrade to use your account balance. Otherwise, there’s a good chance you could lose more money on the membership alone.
Grass – Free Lifetime Membership – 100 max. direct referrals, 100 max rented referrals, and 7 day withdrawal time frame.
Leaf Monthly – $20 Monthly Membership – 300 max direct referrals, 1000 max rented referrals, and 7 day withdrawal time frame.
Leaf – $80 6-Month Membership – 300 max direct referrals, 1000 max rented referrals, and 7 day withdrawal time frame.
Bush Half Year – $180 6-Month Membership – 800 max direct referrals, 3000 max rented referrals, and 7 day withdrawal time frame.
Bush – $350 Yearly Membership – 800 max direct referrals, 3000 max rented referrals, and 7 day withdrawal time frame.
Flower 90 Days – 90 Day Membership $180 – 100,000 max direct referrals, 5000 rented referrals, and 5 day withdrawal time frame.
Flower – $500 Yearly Membership – 100,000 max direct referrals, 5000 rented referrals, and 5 day withdrawal time frame.
Account upgrades will not always benefit you though and it’s hard to see how a $500 upgrade can make up for the cents you make clicking on ads. While it does increase your direct referral limit to 100,000, the rented referral strategy is one you should avoid at all costs.
EkoClix Overview – Why I Don’t Recommend It!
Given that EkoClix has been around since 2013, we haven’t concluded that this site is a scam. But it’s definitely one we don’t recommend, given its low earning potential and very time-consuming process. This site is most suitable for the individual looking to earn a few dollars in their spare time. But anyone looking to earn a full-time online income would be wise to avoid this site.
Even when upgrading your membership, you’ll find that recuperating those costs is a very difficult process and not always achievable. To think you can walk away with a nice profit would be a fascination and one I had personally given into a long-time ago.
It wasn’t until going through one PTC site after the next, when I finally realized that these sites simply do not work. Yes, you can most certainly make some money, maybe even hundreds if you spend every waking hour on the site. But at the end of the day, you’d be much better off building your own affiliate marketing business, which you can learn all about by clicking down below.
