In 2019, just the gym, health and fitness clubs market in Canada was a $4 BN industry. And there’s constantly more people being introduced to healthier lifestyles through wellness programs at work. It’s estimated a third of Canadian businesses are now encouraging their staff to take better care of their health, and all this buzz will play out well for affiliates promoting fitness affiliate programs for Canada.
Fitness is a lifestyle involving more than exercising though. It includes regular exercise, eating the right foods, and topping up on essential vitamins.
That opens up earnings opportunities through general health affiliate programs and for Canadian bloggers in the health space, there’s even more earning potential from fitness affiliate programs for Canada.
Some people exercise at gyms, some attend yoga classes, some dance, and some will workout at home. To do that, they buy fitness equipment, workout DVDs, exercise gear, including wearables like Fitbits, smartwatches, and even smart weighing scales.
In terms of nutrition, those following a diet either for weight loss or muscle gains can buy all the supplements they need online to help them meet their fitness goals and you can earn a commission from those sales too through nutrition affiliate programs.
For people who are too busy to pay attention to what they buy in their weekly shop, they can subscribe to packaged food deliveries either for healthy meats, vegan foods or even just for nutritious snacks to avoid pigging out on junk food, loaded with sugar, just for a quick energy boost at work.
Fitness isn’t just for people with specific fitness goals like getting an hourglass figure. Entrepreneurs pay close attention to their fitness, treating it as a morning ritual with as much importance as journaling and meditation.
Senior managers, team leaders, influencers, and independent business owners pay attention to their exercise because studies show that it does improve decision-making, focused attention, lowers stress levels and eases anxiety.
So even if you’re in the personal development space, business or otherwise, fitness is a topic that part of your audience is likely to be interested in. Share your own fitness routines with your audience.
Fitness Website Ideas
- Nutrition for a specific group of people such as promoting a food subscription service for bodybuilders on the keto diet.
- Exercises for seniors like chair yoga, stretching exercises or you could even use affiliate programs to monetize a local walking group in any part of Canada.
- The recovery market is another fitness niche because sports injuries happen frequently and when they do, it’s not always bedrest. There’s recovery exercises to do and compression garments to buy to help aid the recovery process.
- Dietary supplements are another popular sector of the fitness market.
- Gym gear, which now includes wearable technology (Fitbit) as well as all the clothing needed for exercising.
- Fitness for parents. Getting rid of postpartum belly fat is one niche, but for Mom’s and Dad’s with babies or toddlers without a regular sleeping pattern, they won’t have time to attend the gym.

All their meat is from grass-fed cattle, the fish are freshly caught, there’s artisanal chicken, free-range pork and it’s all from local and responsible farmers.
The TruLocal affiliate program can be tied into fitness programs in Canada such as the Keto diet for bodybuilders to pack on lean muscle.
Actually, they work for any exercise program because grass-fed meats have a higher amount of omega-3 fatty acids. That’s needed to reduce inflammation and lower the risk of ‘delayed onset muscle soreness’ (DOMS), which often sets in a few hours after a vigorous workout.
The affiliate program pays 10% commission, has a 30-day cookie window and is managed by the ShareaSale network.

The Bowflex Canada affiliate program is managed by Impact Radius, pays a 3% commission and uses 30-day cookies.

When customers shop on the website, the price including shipping + taxes is automatically calculated at checkout.

6. Needak

The Needak affiliate program is only for their rebounders and doesn’t cover any of their accessories, books, or DVDs.
If you don’t know what rebounders are, they’re low-to-the-ground mini trampolines for adults to keep fit at home.
Rebounders here are more expensive than most because they’re made in the USA and designed for longevity, in other words, they should last for years and the whole family can bounce around on these.
Rebounders are popular among parents who want to workout at home in just five to ten minutes at a time.
The affiliate program is a bit unusual because they pay a flat fee of $39 per sale, regardless of what rebounder is sold. That being said, prices are between $400 and $500 CAD so it is a generous commission rate.
In terms of the types of sites that they want to affiliate with, they state that they prefer bloggers and those with content-rich websites in the health and fitness space. It doesn’t necessarily have to be about rebounding.

Most of the information on the Plus Fit affiliate program is outlined in the terms of service, but it did lack some vital information affiliates need, mainly commission rates and cookie-tracking.
To fill in some gaps, we reached out to Plus Fit owner, Philippe Loutfi, who’s provided all the information you need to know about the affiliate program.

The affiliate program is privately run and the company has been around for over 5-years. (Previously logoless.ca).
As the company’s expanded, they’ve worked with physiotherapists to test and introduce a new line of therapeutic products including foam rollers to increase blood circulation and get rid of muscle knots.
There are also different sports tapes that help aid in sports recovery, such as K-Tape (Kinesiology Tape) used by athletes that help them stay active while recovering from sports injuries.

The data from FitTrack’s Dara gives 17 health indicators covering everything from BMI, body mass, muscle mass, and body water percentage.
The FitTrack Dara is the signature product, has an app for android and iOS and can track data for up to eight users so entire families or groups of exercise buddies can use just one monitor.
The only people who can’t use this are those with medical implants like a pacemaker because it sends an electrical signal through the body to measure resistance against the body’s water content.
The FitTrack affiliate program is managed by Commission Junction and pays 12% commission.

As will anyone who needs technical sportswear to enjoy exercising outdoors.
The affiliate program is managed by AvantLink (Canada) and pays up to 10% commissions with the cookies set to 21-days. There is a product datafeed available, however, to be approved by Avantlink, your site needs to be developed and have valuable content.
Something they don’t want from affiliates is to pull in products and basically duplicate what’s already on the merchant website. This just means you can’t register a domain like “best hiking jackets” then use the datafeed to list a bunch of jackets in the outdoor hiking category.
Once you’re site’s developed with sufficient content…
