Affiliate marketing is a method of marketing that has gained rapid traction over the past few years. But it isn’t just a method of marketing. Its also allowed both companies and individuals to be able to effectively monetize their website, allowing them to work harder on their blogs. Question is, where do you learn these affiliate marketing techniques and who can teach you?

There have been courses dedicated to affiliate marketing, many of which have been amazingly helpful in showing you the ins and outs of how affiliate marketing works. Recently, we covered 2017’s best affiliate marketing forums & communities, and even a look into affiliate marketing books, but today we’ll be looking into something even further.

In this post, we’ll go over some 2017’s best affiliate marketing courses you can take, so you can have a better and improved understanding of the affiliate marketing world; a world that is only known best to bloggers and webmasters. If this is something you’re interested in pursuing, then make sure to take these following courses into consideration.

Who Should Take An Affiliate Marketing Course?

  • Someone who already has a blog, but isn’t sure on how to monetize.
  • Someone who wants a more intimate knowledge of how online marketing works.
  • Someone interested in pursuing a niche, but doesn’t know where to start.
  • Someone with a desire to start a website and get seen on Google.

MoreNiche Affiliate CourseThe first course on our list is More Niche. With a dedicated 20-person staff and offices located in both the UK and USA, this website consists of a course structure you can trust.

More importantly is the wonderful reputation the team has built for themselves, starting way back in 1999, meaning you know that these guys know what they’re talking about when it comes to affiliate training.

Topics they excel in include affiliate marketing, content creation with value, optimizing conversions, geo-marketing, as well as a fairly big emphasis on e-commerce marketing.

Courses are split into three sections; one for beginners, one for intermediates, and another for the advanced affiliate. With each lesson you can get a sneak preview of what it’s about before diving in. There’s also a community aspect to More Niche, which can be found on social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter. Anyone is welcome to join More Niche and registering an account is free.

4. LYNDA.COM Affiliate is an amazing marketing resource for those looking to get into affiliate marketing. What I like about it most is that it’s professional all-around and the courses are very well-explained. In total, there are about 5,637 videos and courses that cover topics that extend beyond affiliate marketing.

Some of these topics include 3D+ animation, general business & management leadership, digital publishing & design, app development, content marketing, analytics, and so much more. Now, you might come to the conclusion that is tailored to the more advanced user, and that is somewhat true to an extent.

But the nice thing about the site is that it allows you to filter all of your course results into beginner, intermediate, and advanced, so you have a better idea of where to start. For those who need something along the lines of a more step-by-step, straight-forward process, might not be the right training to start out with. But for those who already have a general idea of what they’re doing, have started a site up or two in the past, and know exactly what they’re looking for, then this could be an ideal course for you. includes two memberships – a $9.99 monthly basic membership and $19.99 monthly premium membership.

Affiliate Marketing On UdemyOne of the best ways for learning affiliate marketing online is through Udemy. This online marketplace is filled with all types of online marketing courses. For those who don’t care as much about a community or social aspect, this can be a good option to consider.

The key part is ensuring you find the best and most thorough courses on affiliate marketing, which I plan to write in a separate post in the near future. But for now, you’ll be able to get a soft gauge of the course’s from the ratings and user comments left by other members.

There are definitely pros and cons of using Udemy as a means of getting a better understanding of affiliate marketing. The pro here is that many of these courses come fairly cheap and lessons for the most part, are split into several short videos that can be easily followed. The drawback is that getting support from others is fairly difficult, but you may have access to the course instructor. Nevertheless, I find Udemy to be a great method regardless for getting the general gist of affiliate marketing, and you may even learn a nice tidbit or two by the time you’re done with your desired course.

Affilorama TrainingHere’s another great place to start when it comes to affiliate marketing. Three major sections make the site what it is today. The first is the awesome AffiloBlueprint, which is the primary step-by-step course that comes with Affilorama. With the course, you’ll learn extremely important techniques for helping you get started on the right foot.

This includes properly researching your market and keywords before deciding on your niche, how to create content, setting up & designing your website, and other important on-page SEO factors. The $197 course might feel a little expensive to some, but I found that it contains plenty of value worth exploring. If, for any reason, the course isn’t to your satisfaction you can get a 60-day money back guarantee, which is nice.

Then we have AffiloTools, which is comprised of analytical tools for making your affiliate marketing venture a success. These include a keyword tool, ranking tracker, link finder, social media metric tool, and more. AffiloTools is completely free to sign-up and get started with. Last but not least, is the AffiloJetpack, which is a complete package of 5 niche websites you can purchase for $997. While there is pre-written content on these sites already, you’ll still need to grow your sites by adding more valuable content on a daily basis. It’s a great deal nonetheless, and a great way to start up your own set of online businesses.

Wealthy Affiliate TrainingMy all-time favorite affiliate marketing course is probably Wealthy Affiliate. Some might argue it’s best for beginners, but I have to disagree. Wealthy Affiliate truly put the online marketing world into perspective for me, more-so than any other course I’ve tried.

The training is done in such a way, that you truly feel motivated to take action and more importantly, it’s very clear-cut. WA has so much more than just its training and videos however, but has turned into a site that is constantly evolving.

Whether for better or worse, Wealthy Affiliate will probably be unlike anything you’ve tried and that’s because everything you need to make your affiliate marketing venture successful is included on the site. This means domains, hosting, live chat, SiteComments, free website builder, keyword tool, and courses on just about anything and everything that relates to affiliate marketing.

For me, I knew this is what I needed to make my venture successful and I think the community aspect was a huge motivator for me going forward. While Wealthy Affiliate might not be for everyone, it was the right choice for me as it gave me a clear and straight-forward path with every step forward.
