Faith-based blogs and ministry websites can grow quickly into a community and it’s not just for ministers and pastors to spread the word of God.
Individuals can easily get started blogging and connecting to the millions of Christians around the world as well as being able to tap into a highly active and engaged community of Christian bloggers. As you will find out very soon, having a Christian blog will provide you with a large number of opportunities to monetize the content, one of the ways of which are Christian affiliate programs.
Here’s a sobering statistic: 74% of Americans identify as Christian
- 49% identify as Protestant
- 23% identify as Catholic
- Mormons account for about 2%
Yet, a study by Lifeway Research shows that most can’t explain why. Some people just identity as Christian because they were born into a Christian household.
You don’t need to be a Christian to include Christian affiliate programs in your marketing arsenal so you can earn from your blog or social media following.
The whole foundation of Christianity is about helping people. Offering hope when people are down, raising funds to help the poor, nurturing relationships and spreading love.
Christianity isn’t solely about following the rules set out in the Bible, but is rather based on following good moral practices and leading an ethical life.
That’s something anyone can do regardless of religion.
There’s no need to rely on prayers that your blog or website can earn money.
Christian affiliate programs can help you earn a steady income by partnering with Christian-focused businesses to help spread the word about their products and services while also helping to spread the Gospel too.

7. Series Engine

Series Engine is a premium WordPress plugin that can be used by Church websites to share Sermons directly on their WordPress website. It’s created by Eric Murrell, who’s also the communications manager at Long Hollow Baptist Church.
The plugin was built prior to the LongHollow.com website switching to WordPress. Something a lot of Ministries are doing because it is more affordable and doesn’t need in-house developers to maintain their church site.
Series Engine makes it easy for Ministries to create media pages with archives of Sermons letting visitors experience a Church before they visit.
The affiliate program is managed by the e-junkie platform, pays 30% commission on plugin sales ($29.70 commission) and it uses 6-month cookies. Payments are processed monthly and paid directly to PayPal.

8. Prayer Engine

The power of Christian churches and groups is community and Prayer Engine can help strengthen that community by integrating a Prayer Wall directly onto a WordPress website.
The plugin is created by the same developer as the Series Engine plugin above and adds tremendous group power to Ministry websites as members can post prayer requests for other Christians to pray for them.
Once someone posts a prayer request, Church administrators can moderate the requests to ensure there isn’t too much sensitive information being shared online.
Once the post is approved by administrators, other members can submit real-time feedback by clicking on the “I Prayed for This” button, which instantly emails the original poster to let them know that someone else has prayed for them.
Pricing and the affiliate program are the exact same as Series Engine so you can sign up with E-Junkie, get your referral links with 60-day cookies to earn a 30% commission on each license purchased.

9. Donor Box

Donor Box is a fundraising software to help Churches and other Non-Profits to raise funds with recurring subscriptions from Donors.

Non-profits are able to set up campaigns for regular recurring donations, or individual appeal campaigns can be run for one-off donations.
The affiliate program is managed by Tapfilliate.com, uses 45-day cookies and pays 15% commission of clients Donor Box fees for 3-years after they start using Donorbox.org.
There is a free plan to get started, then clients pay 1.5% commission to use DonorBox once they start raising over $1,000 monthly from their fundraising campaigns so Donor Box partners will earn 15% of those 1.5% commissions for 3-years since signup.

Customers can browse designs for Thanksgiving, Christmas designs, or perhaps discipleship and more.

Churches produce content regularly, every week at least, and just by recording Sermons, Churches, and Ministries and tap into podcast directories like iTunes to spread their message globally.
